Print vs. email marketing – which is better?
Each is very good at doing certain things. Email sends people quick messages that they tend to spend little time with and very rarely save; print creates messages that people tend to save, read more slowly and even pass on to friends. The best answer, therefore? A creative combination of print and email is far stronger than either of the two used alone. Let’s talk about your best options.
How do I order?
See each product page for order form.
When will I receive my newsletter?
Our goal is to have them in your hands by the first couple of days of the month you’re scheduled to run. It varies a little because we don't ship on weekends or holidays. So, for example your December issue, would be shipped on approximately the 28th or 29th of November. You should receive them 3-5 business days after that. If not, feel free to give us a call and we can track the shipment for you.
Can I review the newsletter content before it is published?
The newsletter is researched and written shortly before we go to press and we are not able to have clients review it; we want to keep to our printing schedule to get your newsletter out on time. This is one of the reasons we send lots of sample issues…so that people can read the style of Dr. Bill Fisher and familiarize themselves with the excellence of his writing. We have a well-earned national reputation for arguably the best content available.
How often do I have to run?
You can run monthly or bimonthly or any other schedule you choose. However, the RSM clients who are most successful order at a minimum every other month.
Can you mail the newsletters for me?
Yes, we provide a complete mailing service. See each product page for order form.
How do I pay for my newsletters?
You may pay by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover), which will be automatically charged on the 15th of the month prior to publication, (after we have started the printing process). You may also pay by check, which would be due the 10th of the month prior to publication.
When will I receive my monthly invoice?
Invoices are mailed around the 22nd of each month. If you pay by check your payment is due by the 10th of the following month. If you pay by credit card, your card will be automatically charged on approximately the 15th of the following month. Your invoice arrives early, so be sure to check the top of the invoice, which tells you the month of publication. For example, your January invoice will be mailed on November 22nd. Your check payment would be due to RSM by December 10th. If you pay by credit card, RSM will automatically charge your card on December 15th for the January issue. Your invoice always reminds you of your deadline for the upcoming issue.
What is the deadline for changes to my newsletter or cancellations?
The deadline for any change to your newsletter or cancellations is the 10th of the month prior. For example, changes to your October newsletter are due by September 10th.

Please notify RSM in writing via fax or email of any changes to your schedule, contact info or shipping address. Please note that we will respond and acknowledge receipt of your request.
What is My Custom Back Page?
RSM will assume you want to run a generic custom back page, however we really appreciate it when the form is emailed back in a timely manner, whether you are choosing to run a CBP or not. Also, the Custom Back Page is not an authorization for you to run. You will always receive a newsletter for your scheduled month, unless you have informed us of a change in your frequency schedule in writing.
How do I get the Custom Back Page information to RSM?
On the 1st of each month we email a reminder to those clients who want to take advantage of the Custom Back Page feature. Your reminder email will include these options: 1) Please use the same Custom Back Page as my previous issue; 2) Please use your Generic Back Page for this issue; 3) I am sending the information for my Custom Back Page via E-Mail. The deadline to return the CBP form to us is the 10th of the month prior. It is crucial to return the CBP by the deadline. All newsletters are printed together so if anyone is late, that person delays the printing of everyone’s newsletters. After we receive the copy for your Custom Back Page, we will email a proof of the design back to you for your approval.
What if I neglect to return my Custom Back Page form?
RSM will assume you want to run a generic custom back page, however we really appreciate it when the form is emailed back in a timely manner, whether you are choosing to run a CBP or not. Also, the Custom Back Page is not an authorization for you to run. You will always receive a newsletter for your scheduled month, unless you have informed us of a change in your frequency schedule in writing by the 10th of the month prior.
Can I put my newsletter up on my website?
Copyright laws prohibit the reproduction of the newsletters for website use. However, RSM does offer a Weekly Economic Update, a well-written, informative weekly report on the economic situation as it relates to real estate and financing. This “hot off the press” economic update is an excellent way to entice prospects to visit your website and it’s extremely affordable at only $75 per month.
